DES-CLAW, LLC is now hiring an experienced and motivated Logistics Account Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Management of one or more customer accounts through entire lifecycle.
• Generate revenue through an established logistic bidding process as well as promoting consolidation, assembly, and warehousing and other related business opportunity.
• Conduct competitive analysis and understand the marketplace through research and customer feedback.
• Negotiate terms and rates, influence key decision makers.
• Establishing and maintain a positive business relationship with assigned accounts from account set-up to post call implementation.
• Serve as the focal point for customer communication, problems, questions, and concerns.
• Identify additional business opportunities.
• Responsible for program management, project planning and scheduling of various steps of projects to meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with other internal employees to ensure the successful launch and acceptable performance solutions.
• Provide feedback to the company regarding customer concerns and ensure customer has accurate and timely responses.
• Build a strong relationship with customers to maintain their loyalty and long-term partnership.
• Monitor competitor activity to strategize future bids.
• Perform site visits, customer visits, as needed to identify concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other business development and account management duties as needed.

• Minimum 2 years related work experience as a national or global account manager capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present in front of a group.
• Experience with automotive customers, automotive freight and JIT environments, with EDI & TMS systems extremely helpful.
• Solid working knowledge of the financial aspects of bidding on automotive freight lanes.
